Not easy to see, but there's another cycleway sign half-hidden by a tree, to the west of the Arroyo Cuñapiru in Rivera, Uruguay

Four cycle parking spaces on two nappy pin racks at the back of an hotel in Chesterton.

Just as I was about to leave Victoria Park, I noticed this bollard emblazoned "Park Cycle Route End".

Pedantic signage for the Clyde Tunnel northbound entrance and southbound exit. Why sign the exit from here?

The kind of dropped kerb that really needs nibbed to protect it from car parking. The kerb across the road is completely blocked. On this side of Holmfauldhead Place a shared-use footway has been created between this dropped kerb and the ... [more]

Access between Elder Park and Drive Road hindered by a railing, yet signed (in tiny writing) for cycling.

A large empty junction at Arklet Road/Lunan Place/Arngask Road.

Ramped access to the underpass under the M8, linking Barfillan Drive and Jura Street to Craigton Road. This is the nearest dropped kerb if coming from Jura Street. Lots of roadspace crying out for some reallocation to enable active travel.

Road closures either end of an abandoned section of road in Craigton. It may suit formal conversion into a park, and there is already a small park the other side of Carsaig Drive.

Cycle access at Barfillan Drive.

A road closure with just a dropped (fallen) kerb at the side to enable cycle access. Needs formalised with a proper exemption.

Cycle access at Maryland Drive maintained during roadworks.

Temporary road access to an industrial estate (created when its regular access was blocked by long-term utilities work) now blocked off.

More cars parked in the Cardonald Place Road contraflow cycle lane. When I got to the traffic signals, I waited for two pedestrian phases and still the cycle phase did not happen.

Old barriers still blocking footbridge over White Cart, now part of the Cardonald Quietway.

Cycle only access at the west end of Dormanside Road.

A route sign for NCN7/75 on Linthaugh Road, and cycle only access on Dormanside Road.

Cycle markings on Skipness Drive.

No dropped kerb at the south side of the toucan crossing seen in #112196, for access to the crossing from a network of low-traffic back-streets.

A dropped kerb has indeed been installed (see #98305), providing access to the toucan crossing.

The exit from the southbound pedestrian/cycle Clyde Tunnel. Although each tunnel is one-way for cycles, pedestrians can use either tunnel in either directions. How are pedestrians entering here expected to know about the possibility of a ... [more]

Gravel on sticky tarmac on this track beside Ruta 3, Termas del Daymán, Uruguay [2019 - there is now a narrow two-way paved cycleway from the Termas del Dayman to at least the edge of Salto]

The track ends at the bridge in the distance then continues on the other side of Ruta 3 to the edge of Salto - not too terrible considering how hot it is and how few people will bother cycling out to the Termas. [2019 - there is now a narr ... [more]

  • Icon 112230 There is a new building with offices and appartments on the corner of Ufford Street and Blackfriars Road. Disguise Ltd, the company moving into the offices would like to encourage as many of their employees to cycle as possible. Their current premises has bike storage nearby, and are hoping that they can retain and even grow the number of employees who cycle to work. Having secure bike storage would hugely influence the number of people who cycle. There are currently around 90 employees who will be moving into the office in January. This will also benefit the new tenants of the apartments.

  • Icon 112228 It would be useful to be able to lock up my bike when going to the local shops here.
  • Icon 112226 All the cycle hubs around me are full and so i have to chain my bike in my doorway - a cycle hub would help my entire road

  • Icon 112162 At the end of Pomeroy Street at the Queens Road end before the traffic lights. There has been a continuous set of stationary cars jusy dumped there just for the sole purpose of advertising a Cash 4 Cars service. As soon as the car is removed another one takes it place. Why not replace it with bike parking since it's not taking up a useful parking space. It would benefit the residents of Pomeroy Street as we live in flats and few have secure storage for bikes. My neighbours would take advantage of it. The others nearby are all full or for other estates.

  • Icon 112150 Three either side of the road would probably work well
  • Icon 112149 It would be nice to have a covered parking one.
  • Icon 112147 There is already a public parking which is always full and up to three bikes may be found locked from 5 pm to 8pm in front of Sainsbury's and the Gymbox every day. This is a safe place to lock a bike, so there's not enough of it.
